It was founded on February 18, 1988 by an entrepreneur and later, the editor of the «Telenova» television company, Tommaso Mastrandrea in Milan. The TV channel broadcasts feature films and television series, scientific and geographical documentaries, some «RAI» programs and films, cartoons, science and entertainment programs and shows, talk shows based on debates between the home audience and guests in the studio, political news with local context, programs about fashion, art, culture, sports and medicine, cycles dedicated to Italian theater, national and international comedy, inserts from television stores, broadcast concerts, operas, theater plays, programs for children and much more. It is interesting to note that in 2007 the channel launched the first reality show in the boxing world, which talked about the everyday real life of professional boxers participating in the matches of the Italian professional cup.
